Where’s the Remote?

June 15th - July 23rd, 2020

Sit Still Projects is pleased to announce its inaugural exhibition Where’s the Remote? The 16 artists chosen cover a range of processes and approaches to the moving image, which serve as a response to time spent in quarantine. A remote is both a noun and an adjective, a device which can only be accessed by means of a network and denoting a place far from the main centers of population. This exhibition considers the common phrase in relation to distance, comfort, and accessibility with a “both and” attitude to the given definitions.
